Otokinoko Shop open — for limited time only

Otokinoko, the world’s first retailer of sounds, is opening at Omotesando Hills for a limited time only!

The shop will feature an exhibition devoted to Kensakukun, the mushroom-shaped search terminal developed by sound expert Kazumichi Fujiwara, while the Dayon sound communicator device will also be on sale.

Kensakukun provides free access to some 100 different sound samples displayed with accompanying video, which can be accessed via the touch screen. All sounds are available for purchase on the spot, together with the video, via download to a mobile phone.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience unusual sounds that we seldom hear, including the sounds of nature (waterfall, river, wind, etc.) as well as selected animal burps and farts and the sounds of the streets from the cities of the world.
